Thalassaemia Australia is proud to promote the virtues of donating blood and works heavily towards 'making every drop count".

A community Blood donors' messages and an active advocacy strategy with the Australian Red Cross Blood Services (ARCBS) is incorporated into all educational sessions. Thalasaemia Australia remains a strong referral body for youth blood donors in Victoria via Red Cross pledge forms and donor enrolment forms and our donor 'special sessions' held regularly at the Mt Waverley Donor Centre. Thalassaemia Australia is most pleased to hold an ARCBS/ Thalasaemia Australia Club Code and encourages our regular donor community to quote the code when booking donor appointments
